Who are you going to be?
  Your neighbors, your friends, and prominent members of society have joined over a million other men as Freemasons.

Members of the Masonic Fraternity have been making positive contributions to our communities for over 160 years through programs that promote education, reduce substance abuse, care for the elderly, and care for our youth.

Today, the Grand Lodge of Illinois comprises more than 500 Lodges and over 70,000 Masons - men of character from every walk of life all working together to build a better world.

            Born November 5, 1926 in Granite City, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012 in Granite City, Illinois. Masonic Services were held Sunday, May 6.  Burial with Military Honors was in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates located in Granite City.
 
           He married Doris Barr on January 17, 1945 in Venice, Illinois and had two children, Sherry and Larry, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.  The United States Navy veteran proudly served his country during World War II and was a member of the American Legion Post 113...

  Rembert Thigpen (Jack) Gladin, Jr. began his career on a cold Sunday morning in December 1929 in Sandersville, GA, son of Edith and Rembert Thigpen Gladin, Sr.  For the next 17 years he led a fairly typical life growing up in the south.  His father was a trainer and installer of equipment for the Western Union Company.  That meant the company relocated the family fairly often throughout the states of Florida, Kentucky, Alabama, and Georgia...
